I’ve been busy shooting more incredible cars! A 1932 Ford, 1954 Chevy pickup, and a 1957 Thunderbird – all flawless. Shooting autos combines the best of everything for me – my love of all things car related and photography. It’s always a challenge to find the lines that best feature the car and to get the right light. Being large reflective surfaces, you have to be careful about what is reflecting where the highlights are falling. My go-to set up for these shoots are a circular polarizer and my remote triggered speedlights. A polarizer makes it easy to remove glare and reflections off of the glass and even large body panels where you don’t want or need the reflection. Add in good natural light and you can create some fantastic photos!
