A little about me....
Ansel Adams said "You don't take a photograph, you make it." Creating a photograph that evokes a "Wow!" moment is what I strive for in every single frame.
I'm a travel and automotive photographer. I absolutely love cars and can create photos to help you sell your car, make a giant poster for your garage or man cave, or even a fine art coffee table book to show off your collection.
I have traveled and lived all over the world. I spent 3 years in Italy and saw most of Europe, including France, Great Britain, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, and Spain. I've been to Patagonia in South America, Costa Rica, Canada, Iceland, all over the Caribbean, and just about every single state. My travel photography revolves around cityscapes and landscapes. I create fine art prints that can be a centerpiece in your home or office.
I've always been a creative person and spent most of my adult life as a musician in the U.S. Navy. After retiring, I took up photography to meet that need and quickly fell in love with everything about it. I enjoy creating images and increasing my knowledge and understanding of light, weather, composition, and the many ways of processing images.
I’ve been refining my skills for over 10 years. I believe that great photography isn’t about just taking a lot of photos and hoping for a good one – it’s all about getting the shot right. Care and planning goes into each and every shoot, from the time of day that the light looks best to what additional lighting I may need, and which lens to use, to make each photo the best it can be.
I certainly don't know it all and never will - but I never stop learning and striving to take my art to the next level. I love to share my knowledge and collaborate with other photographers! If you have any questions, drop me an email or leave a comment for me on my Contact page.
