Silver Falls State Park,

Oregon

March-May
October-November

This 3 day workshop takes us to my favorite waterfall area in the entire Pacific Northwest. Silver Falls State Park in Oregon is incredible - 10 waterfalls along the 8 mile loop trail ensure we'll get epic photographs.

If you choose to go in the spring, the waterfalls will be at their peak - lots of flow and green leaves coming back to the big leaf maples and other trees along the trails. If you want to capture fall color, schedule your workshop for the fall - mid to late October through the first week or two of November is usually best. Either way, the waterfalls are some of the most impressive in the entire country.  Summer months result in weaker water flow and large crowds - best to avoid these times for photography.
