Yosemite
February - May
September - November

If you want to create some incredible images, do it where Ansel Adams did. Yosemite is arguably one of the most stunning landscapes in the world. The views from the valley floor seem to defy belief due to the sheer size of the towering waterfalls and cliffs. This workshop will cover all of the major icons in the park, including Tunnel View, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and more. Hikes are minimal, or long, depending on your fitness level and what you want to capture. Winter months give us the opportunity for snow on the valley floor (more rare than you might think) while spring ensures high water flow for the waterfalls. In the summer months lodging is impossible to find due to the enormous crowds and waterfalls all but disappear. Fall gives way to gorgeous color in the valley - even if the waterfall flows are less, the incredible color makes up for it. For this workshop, lodging must be available in the valley or just outside due to travel times.
